Artist's Statement

In my art I show you something of myself, I may divulge why I created the piece, but most often let the piece speak for itself, so you can travel with me through my self-reflective excursion and to my intuitive expression. This is the process by which I am guided to convey my thoughts, loves, fears and dreams the foundation for my art.

My sculpture, in particular, is often spontaneously produced with no conscious thought or plan coming to life through the intuitive process. I am fascinated by the selectivity of the images that come to the forefront, crying out to be expressed.

Through my art what has been internalized and hidden appears on paper or in clay.
